I am_
My relationship with tech started as pure curiosity. What began as small ‘why does this look like that?’ questions eventually turned into a career built around systems, software, and solving hard problems.
I first got hooked on tech when I was about five, watching my cousin play Super Smash Bros on a Nintendo 64. I didn’t just want to play, I wanted to understand how any of it was possible.
After that, I became fascinated by the smallest details, like why the pen tool in MS Paint looked smooth (anti-aliased), while the pencil tool didn’t. For a while I genuinely thought programmers handled every single on-screen scenario with massive if/else statements. I was obviously wrong, but that curiosity stuck, and it’s what made me fall in love with programming and technology.
Today, I’m a Software Developer at BHDG Systematic Trading in London. I work across the trading stack, from market data collection and adjustments to execution applications and internal research tooling. I’m also one of the go-to Kubernetes engineers on the team (CKA certified), running containerized services in production, preparing model weight updates, and modernizing legacy Ruby on Rails services for reliability and performance. Alongside that, I’m the Technical Software Lead at GrowYourOwn (part-time), where I build the software that powers indoor mushroom-growing systems, from Raspberry Pi control to AWS-backed data and customer-facing web apps.
